On January 11 last Regulation 864/2007/CE on non-contractual obligations named Rome II Regulation, came into force.
On December next will also be enforced Rome I Regulation on contractual obligations, that will complete the previous in order to grant a positive right across EU.

On May 26th last was approved by the Italian Upper House the Law of Reform of the Civil Procedure.
This Law mainly aims to speed up the proceedings, making them slender and granting a quicker resolution of controversies.
